The Hi Noon Ski Club (incorporated 1973) is a private recreational club founded by a small group of Canberra based ski enthusiasts. It is perfectly located in the centre of the beautiful Thredbo alpine village with spectacular views of the ski slopes and easy access to the shops and restaurants.
The Club is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee whose members share a love of alpine sports across a variety of disciplines. The Club’s lodge provides affordable, quality accommodation all year round, within a communal and family friendly atmosphere. The Club is supported by good governance, an enthusiastic voluntary Board and keenly supports sound and sustainable environmental practices befitting the national park in which it is located.
Becoming a member of Hi Noon Ski Club opens up many recreational opportunities including Alpine/Nordic skiing, hiking and mountain biking. Alternatively the village offers golf, tennis, fishing and a fitness centre (including Olympic size pool) all easily accessible within walking distance of the lodge. The lodge is also a great place to relax; to immerse yourself in a good book or even just sit back and enjoy the superb views from the lodge’s elevated position. If a stroll is more your style, be tantalised by the seasonal wild flowers whilst walking the alpine trails and village pathways, or immerse yourself in Thredbo’s café culture. The aim of the Club and its members is to safely enjoy all these activities as they desire in the seasonal splendours of Australia’s alpine environment.
